Brown Dog Carriers' Commitment to Our Core Values

In the past few weeks we have seen dramatic changes in our daily lives. The Coronavirus (COVID-19) has developed into a real threat to our country. And while our national and local governments are taking steps to reduce its spread, Brown Dog Carriers are committed to being on the front line, providing reliable, safe service, as needed, so our customers can keep grocery store shelves fully stocked.

For Brown Dog Carriers, the level of commitment we have to our great customers and community is no different today than it was three weeks ago.  We have customers that have requested extra trucking capacity to help the public through a hard situation and we have stepped up our efforts to help meet those goals.

The Coronavirus has caused people to stock up on goods like we are going to locked in our houses for a very long time.  Now I am hopeful that won’t be the case, but we are committed to doing our part to keep the store shelves stocked with the goods everyone needs.  Brown Dog Carriers has been proud to haul for an amazing group of customers and we are happy to help by adding trucking capacity while they keep up with the increased demand.

Brown Dog Carriers’ first priority is always for the health and safety of our team members. These are part of our Core Values.  Our drivers, like all other professional drivers, are working hard to keep product moving to the stores.  I appreciate, and our customers appreciate, the dedication of our drivers each and every day to be on the front-line, moving product throughout New England.

Since this pandemic has been labeled a National Emergency, the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration has exempted the current hour of service rules for drivers providing to the relief efforts.

At Brown Dog Carriers it is more important to us that our drivers work their normal shift and go home to their family and get the rest they need and deserve.  We operate safe no matter what the situation.

I feel that a well-run and efficient company can take care of their customers’ needs without having to run over their normal hours of service regulations.

I am proud to be a member of the trucking community and no matter what company is out there, chances are they are hauling something you need.  Thank a truck driver because these folks work hard to make the general public’s lives better.

Always know that Brown Dog Carriers is committed to safety and customer satisfaction and by hiring and training the right drivers.

This is how we make it happen.

Stay safe,

Graig Morin - President, Brown Dog Carriers
