Brown Dog's Blog

Welcome to the Brown Dog Blog

Welcome to 2020 and our first Blog!

2020 brings a new decade and new opportunities. At Brown Dog we are entering our third full year of operation and we are excited to build on the many successes of our first two full years. The company has experienced considerable growth resulting in an increasing number of employees and trucks.

Let us first say Thank You to all who have supported us and contributed to our success in the past two years.

Why have we been able to grow? It’s not that complicated. We are a Maine based family business built on equal respect for our customers, employees, community and owners. We make safety a top priority in our operations and do not take shortcuts. Out goal is to be a cure for the stress and headaches that are common in the logistics and trucking business.

Our customers over the past two years have ranged from small Maine based companies to publicly traded global enterprises. We strive to service each of our customers in a manner that is unique to their operations and provides them with a stress-free solution to their trucking needs.

Our employees are the key to our ability to service our customers at a high level. We have a dedicated team with hundreds of years of combined experience that share our core beliefs and values. Many of our team members are veterans who have served our country with honor.

We believe that everyone should be a contributing member of their community. We work with several community organizations to help where we can. We have been working with Wreaths Across America since our inception in 2017 and in 2020 we began working with K9’s on The Front Line, a Maine based organization geared to help veterans and rescue dogs.

Our Ownership is diverse in background and experience but have a love of family and Maine as core values. They are excited about continuing to grow the business, increase employment and support the community.

Look forward to new blogs in the coming weeks.

Happy New Year!
